Vanpools
work like an
express bus, but
on a smaller and
more customized
scale. Serving
groups of seven
to fifteen
commuters, Oahu
vanpool
subscriptions
are only $55 per
month, which
includes the
vehicle lease,
insurance,
maintenance and
emergency
roadside
assistance. To
help keep costs
low, vanpools
are driven by
authorized
vanpool members.
Vanpools usually
work best for
people who work
regular hours
and have a
longer commute.
And since the
vanpool group
decides the best
route and
schedule,
vanpooling can
be extremely
time efficient
and convenient!
Thanks to a
special start-up
subsidy, you can
start a new
vanpool with as
few as four
